Gettysburg Ghosts (August 5, 2006)

In this video, uploaded by YouTube user Faeden, some soldier apparitions marching in formation on the field of Gettysburg, PA. An estimated 50,000 men on both sides died on this battleground, so there is the chance that a few of them are still marching on in the afterlife. Fact or fiction? You decide.

Perth Tea Room Ghost (July 3, 2012)

An image of a supposed ghost was captured in Perth by a cafe's security cameras. The cafe owner also explains that this was not the first odd happening in the past few months. Employees reported some strange occurrences as well, including objects being moved and feeling a chill down their spine.

The CCTV image was taken in the dead of night after something set off a motion sensor. A spokesman for Paranormal Investigation Scotland said: “This is the most convincing image we have seen in almost a decade, so we were keen to start looking into it.” To read the full article, click here.

Ghost of Glastonbury Pub (May 11, 2012)

Glastonbury Pub has often been repudiated to be a haunted place. Some pub-goers have had some strange pictures taken here with inexplicable light smears on them. “We have had guests telling us they could hear harp music coming from empty rooms, TVs turning on and off in the middle of the night, and coughs and footsteps in the cellar,” the owner of the pub said.

A Weird Year in Britain (2010)

The Sun published an article about how a record 227 paranormal events occurred in 2010. Apparently, a normal number of paranormal reports ranges from 140 to 180 reports.

What is even stranger is that in the same year, an astrophysicist named Mazlan Othman believes the recent discovery of 140 Earth-sized planets suggests that contact with extra-terrestrials in the near future is much more likely.

She is astrophysicist Mazlan Othman head of the UN’s shadowy Office For Outer Space Affairs, UNOOSA. She said: “We should have a coordinated response that takes into account all the sensitivities related to the subject.”

Perhaps their first contact will be in Britain in the coming years.

The Galway Ghost (February 15, 2012)

Some people say that there is a nun haunting the Long Walk in Galway. Jonathan Curran was taking photographs of the area when he caught the nun on camera.

“The image was not visible either before or after the photograph was taken and was not captured in any of the other photographs, either going or coming. She just seemed to appear for a moment and then disappear. There were other people on the Long Walk that day, but they seemed oblivious to her presence,” he said.

Ghost of Guildford (March 26, 2012)

An amateur photographer captured the image below near Guildford. He says that he was sitting in his van playing with the shutter speed and timers and did not notice the apparition until later when he was loading the images onto his computer.

“It was not until I got home and was downloading, I noticed it,” he said, adamant he had not digitally altered the image in any way. “The black specks are dirt on the windscreen of my van, but the image is way past that.” If you want to read the full article, click here.

Ghost Caught on Film (May 3, 2012)

Not all is serene on Tasmania's Maria Island. Some high school students were on a camping trip on the island, and of course brought their cameras. One lucky teen managed to snap this photograph of a supposed ghost.

When they asked the park rangers about the apparition, one ranger said that it was Rosa Adkins who lived on the island for 52 years. The ranger also mentioned that the high school students were not the only ones to complain about strange occurrences  "Some people even during day have gone in there and they've only lasted a few minutes and come walking out rather briskly and saying they don't really want to go back in there for the rest of the day." YouTube user fourman04 and some of his buddies went into an old hospital in Pittsburg to document some weird activity. Is it real? Some commenters are skeptical.

Poltergeist Caught on Tape (February 12, 2011)

In this video, YouTube user mellowb1rd claims to have caught a poltergeist on tape from three different angles. The recorder writes: "The main activity occurred in the living room while I was out. Unfortunately, I never had a camera in there. However, I did manage to catch this activity on the three cameras I'd set up." A hoax or the real thing? Watch the video and decide.


Moundsville West Virginia Penitentiary (June 4, 2011)

Another YouTube user, chapsparanormal, and some of his friends decided to go ghost hunting in Moundsville Penitentiary. The user writes: "EVP evidence pretty compelling to us, analyzed and not any of our team. No set up footage and so on, but good footage and we added some pics as well at the end. Listen for all the EVP. Had a great time and look forward to working with our friend teams again."

Violent Poltergeist Throws Objects (October 14, 2011)


YouTube user mellowb1rd is back, claiming to have recorded even more paranormal events going on. The user writes: "This is some of the most violent poltergeist activity I've caught on tape for a while. All paranormal activity had stopped by the time I got home but not before the poltergeist had made a hell of a mess of my kitchen."


Train Museum Ghosts (October 31, 2011)

YouTube user thirdphaseofmoon claims to have taken some interesting pictures at the Laupahoehoe Train Museum in Hawaii. Some commenters think it is a hoax while others are convinced it is the real thing. You'll have to decide for yourself. Perhaps the fact that this video was taken on Halloween might sway your judgement.
