Gettysburg Ghosts (August 5, 2006)

In this video, uploaded by YouTube user Faeden, some soldier apparitions marching in formation on the field of Gettysburg, PA. An estimated 50,000 men on both sides died on this battleground, so there is the chance that a few of them are still marching on in the afterlife. Fact or fiction? You decide.

Perth Tea Room Ghost (July 3, 2012)

An image of a supposed ghost was captured in Perth by a cafe's security cameras. The cafe owner also explains that this was not the first odd happening in the past few months. Employees reported some strange occurrences as well, including objects being moved and feeling a chill down their spine.

The CCTV image was taken in the dead of night after something set off a motion sensor. A spokesman for Paranormal Investigation Scotland said: “This is the most convincing image we have seen in almost a decade, so we were keen to start looking into it.” To read the full article, click here.

Ghost of Glastonbury Pub (May 11, 2012)

Glastonbury Pub has often been repudiated to be a haunted place. Some pub-goers have had some strange pictures taken here with inexplicable light smears on them. “We have had guests telling us they could hear harp music coming from empty rooms, TVs turning on and off in the middle of the night, and coughs and footsteps in the cellar,” the owner of the pub said.

A Weird Year in Britain (2010)

The Sun published an article about how a record 227 paranormal events occurred in 2010. Apparently, a normal number of paranormal reports ranges from 140 to 180 reports.

What is even stranger is that in the same year, an astrophysicist named Mazlan Othman believes the recent discovery of 140 Earth-sized planets suggests that contact with extra-terrestrials in the near future is much more likely.

She is astrophysicist Mazlan Othman head of the UN’s shadowy Office For Outer Space Affairs, UNOOSA. She said: “We should have a coordinated response that takes into account all the sensitivities related to the subject.”

Perhaps their first contact will be in Britain in the coming years.
